In the Foreword to the movie it says that "this film is the result of an attempt by awakened Teachers of God to document the occurrence of their own individual enlightenment through the mind training of A Course In Miracles."
The experience of enlightenment is unspeakable and cannot be described in words. Revelation will always be intensely personal and cannot be meaningfully translated. The idea to document this experience seems impossible, but the change and light in those involved with this film speaks for itself. Truth, love, joy and happiness cannot be contained. It is what drove this film as an application and expression of enlightened minds, and so this film is a form of service to the awakening of mankind from it deep slumber since time began: "What is the face of Christ but his who went a moment into timelessness, and brought a clear reflection of the unity he felt an instant back to bless the world? Some spoke for years of making a movie - "The Story of A Course In Miracles" - or looked for ways to bring this message on video via satellite to the world. It is this intense desire to share this new experience and purpose with anyone in this world looking for an alternative to the hopeless condition of conceptual self-identity, and responding to very personal instructions, that brought about this film.
The filmmakers who made A Course In Miracles Unleashed are not professionals, neither is it a conventional documentary film. The film develops a very unique way of story telling. It is a compelling story that does reflect anyone's experience as a human being of coming here, being here and leaving here, i.e. waking up from this dream of death to the reality of eternal life. It is the story of all ages, of every man who ever came or will come to this earth. As it is the "privilege of the forgiven to forgive", it is also the necessity and function of those awakened by the light of God to give it away and extend it. In this sense the movie aims only at offering a glimpse into the experience of true forgiveness, healing and enlightenment as it is experienced through the mind training of A Course In Miracles.
