A COURSE IN MIRACLES UNLEASHED

Forgiveness is a central idea in the teachings of Jesus Christ. It follows from the law of mind, stated in Matthew 7:2, whereby "with the same judgment that you judge, you will be judged." Forgiveness is a reverse action, undoing what has been done.

We let go of the judgment we placed on ourselves and others, and we are we are released, literally freed and saved. How do we do that? By realizing that all judgment is false and that we cannot judge. It is an attack upon the universal oneness of all things, and has to be undone, because it does not exist in the mind of God. The meaninglessness of our judgments seems to escape us constantly, for in this world we live by symbols. We maintain our existence by judgment. We define ourselves as separate and distinct from others which is only possible through judgment. However, we are not separate. We perceive ourselves as separate and discrete, but there is no such thing as separation in God Who is our only home. That is why there must be a means to restore our wholeness and perfection in our likeness with our Creator. That is the promise and testimony of Jesus Christ: There is a way out.

Forgiveness is forgiveness of illusions. Forgiveness is not for what is true, but only for the error of believing in separation in its myriad of forms. Since belief is an expression of what we want, forgiveness means changing our minds about what we want - truth or illusion.

What do we want? Do we want to let the light and perfection of God's creation be darkened by our judgments, opinions and grievances? If today is all we have, do we want to end it in a grievance? Or, at the end of the day, do we say, God is love, and therefore, I must be wrong, if I don't see it in everything? But can we just take out the beam from our own eye? Is forgiveness really a possibility? Then, we could forgive everything and everyone. Jesus Christ demonstrated and showed it to each and everyone in this world. He fulfilled his function of forgiveness completely, and so He could give us an all-inclusive instruction in A Course In Miracles.

"Is forgiveness possible? Is total forgiveness actually possible in this World? Just consider the terrible acts of violence and vengeance that seem to be all around us and an inseparable part of our lives. Is there a way out?

Will the power of our minds, through the Love of God, by an act of forgiveness, actually heal our physical bodies? Will it transform our hatred and fear of each other to a joyous understanding of the Love we share with Eternal Life?

Our Savior Jesus Christ declares that our forgiveness of each other is vital to the discovery of real happiness and peace on this earth. This Eternal Truth will open the Gates of Heaven to all.

It certainly seems to be impossible in this time and place. Yet, there must be a way. And there is!

As Teachers of A Course In Miracles, we are “practicing examples” that a Mind Training in the “Art of Forgiveness” will succeed and can be demonstrated! And further, will give to this World more happiness and peace of mind than anyone here could have ever dreamed possible!"
